Afficionados of the Nod creates unique patterns in fashion colours to interior furnishing fabric and wallpaper. We are an Australian design company based in Sydney, all our designs are original. We cater to individuals and to the interior and architecture industries.
To order from us, you need to register to become an Afficionado. We have afully interactive colour chooser, so that you can see how the wallpapers and fabrics can co-ordinate to suit any environment. If you are after trade or wholesale price, please register and we will allocate you a password, enabling you to see your prices on the site. If you have a specific colour you would like to match, we can help by customising our patterns to match or co-ordinate with any existing colour palette. Please contact us regarding our colour matching service.
Whether you are a person looking to individualise your homespace, an architect or interior designer working on commercial fitouts, we can supply you with custom orders in amazingly short turnarounds, as all our products are hand screened in Sydney. There is no order too large, and our minimum orders are arranged for speed of delivery. We have a range of base fabrics suited for a variety of different applications. Our Philosophy
As the era of extreme minimalism draws to a close, there is now a yearning for soulful interiors, characterised by lush patterns and rich textures. The good news is the Afficionados of the Nod are here to bring you patterns to make your home or commercial space unique to you. We have patterns that will add instant glamour in small or large doses, depending on your needs.
After yearsof living in white boxes, we recommend starting gently and introducing the wallpaper feature wall. This will work wonders with solid colour furniture, and adds an instant lift to living areas and bedrooms. Then you can add coordinating fabric cushions or curtains. And for the final layer, you can re-upholster your solid colour furniture.
To lift a commercial interior, we recommend a bold stroke of 2 or more walls in Afficionados patterns. Alternatively,the fabrics can be applied as wall upholstery, upholstered onto banquettes or office chairs and stain-protected for high traffic wear and tear. We can also apply our patterns to other media, for example by application to windows, for the tota limmersion in pattern.
